Former "Little Nightmare" developer's new sci-fi game has strong action-horror vibe

New studio Section 9 Interactive has released a few GIFs of their upcoming title, a "sci-fi action-adventure title for PC and next-gen consoles. "Section 9 is based in Malmö, Sweden, and is comprised of former developers associated with Little Nightmares and the upcoming Little Nightmares 2 and LittleBigPlanet for PS VITA, i.e. former developers associated with Tarsier Studios.

Little Nightmares and its sequel (due February 21) are stylish, darkly moody stealth horror-platformers that will appeal to fans of Tim Burton's "Grimmical" films. The unnamed game from the developers of Section 9 is also stylish, but it looks like the design of the "Alien" series plus "Dead Space" and "Bioshock." Details are scarce, but it appears to be some sort of action-adventure, isometric shooter with elements of survival and horror.

In the animated GIF, an unnamed protagonist in a Biohazard spacesuit shoots enemies with damage highlighted in certain segments and dodges attacks with rolling controls. Enemies displayed include both robotic enemies and biological terror enemies. You can learn a little more about the studio at the Section 9 Interactive website. There is also a Twitter and Instagram. And finally, here's a gif.
