Harvey Smith, co-creator of Dishonored, is working on a new project.

Harvey Smith, director of Arkane Austin, confirmed that he is working on an unannounced game with the developers of "Dishonored" and "Prey" at Arkane Austin.

In an interview with Spanish site Vandal, Smith revealed that he returned to Arkane Austin after a four-year stint at Arkane Lyon for "Dishonored 2". When asked if that meant he was not working on the upcoming "Deathloop," Smith said that he was not, but that he was "working on something else with the people who made 'Dishonored' and 'Prey.'"

Smith didn't say much more, and didn't give any details about what his next project might be: it could be a new installment of the "Dishonored" or "Prey" series, or something else entirely; Arkane posted a job offer in September for a new AAA title, "an immersive sim, and is likely to be the same title Smith is referring to.

Smith also gave a few glimpses into Microsoft's recent acquisition of Bethesda, including Arkane Studios. He did not say much, but stated that "there is no change in Arkane at this time." Smith also praised the partnership, saying, "It would be very, very hard for Bethesda to find a better partner than Microsoft. They are a perfect fit.
