This is a feature-rich micro ATX motherboard, including support for AMD's latest generation CPUs, and is available at Newegg.

The vendor has reduced the price from $154.99 to $129.99, which is already the lowest price around. However, a $20 mail-in rebate is available, and if you jump through the rebate hoops and receive a check from ASRock, the cost comes to just $109.99.

This motherboard is based on AMD's B550 chipset and should be an affordable alternative to the X570; some B550 motherboards cost several hundred dollars, but most do.

The B550M Steel Legend is a bit higher end than the cheapest B550 motherboards. This motherboard is designed for overclocking and features a 10-phase power supply design for increased stability. ASRock also uses high-end components throughout, including high-end chokes and capacitors.

Other amenities include an enhanced PCIe x16 slot, a 2.5G LAN port (not typically found on cheaper motherboards), two M.2 slots (one supporting PCIe 4.0 SSDs), six SATA 6Gbps ports, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity.
