This gaming laptop with GTX 1650 is now only $589!

While it may be hard to find a good deal on a graphics card right now, gaming laptops are not suffering the same fate; we saw a number of laptop sales between Black Friday in November and December, and now an HP Pavilion with a GTX 1650 laptop for just $589 from Walmart. This is one of the lowest prices we have seen for a laptop with a dedicated graphics card that is that powerful.

HP sells a myriad of Pavilion-branded gaming laptops, but the model on sale here features an Intel Core i5-9300H processor, 15.6" 1080p IPS display, 8GB RAM, 256GB NVMe SSD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. These specs are fairly standard for a laptop around $700-$800, but more impressive at this $589 price point; with the GTX 1650 GPU, this laptop can play most new games at native 1080p resolution, but under load games may struggle to maintain 60 FPS.

The main limiting factors for this laptop are the 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Currently, 16GB of RAM is recommended for most games, and a 256GB drive is only enough to play a few games (or roughly two Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War) without relying on external storage. Thankfully, the laptop ships with one 8GB of RAM, so you can double your available memory by simply adding another DDR4-2666 SDRAM for about $30.

Replacing an NVMe SSD can be a bit expensive, but our SSD deals offer several discounted options.
