At full price, the Logitech G305 Lightspeed is the best wireless gaming mouse you can buy at an affordable price. However, it is currently discounted to $34.94 on Amazon, making it an absolute steal and even easier to recommend.

Logitech's goal with the G305 Lightspeed was to create a high-performance wireless mouse for gamers without an outrageous price tag, and it succeeds: with 12,000 DPI (adjustable to 200 DPI) and a 1ms report rate, the company's excellent Hero optical sensor, and up to 250 hours of battery life on a single AA battery.

The G305 Lightspeed's shape is ambidextrous, but the thumb buttons are located on the left side of the rodent, meaning it is designed for right-handed gamers. There are a total of six fully programmable buttons and onboard memory that can store up to five profiles.

The mouse is also relatively lightweight at 99 grams. This is not the lightest mouse on the market, but Logitech didn't even have to drill holes in the chassis to keep the weight down.

Another thing worth pointing out is the mechanical button tension on the left and right buttons. These buttons are a separate component from the removable palm rest (for battery replacement and wireless dongle storage), and provide consistent and reliable clicking performance.

Not bad for a sub-$35 gaming mouse.
