Dragon Age 4 Executive Producer Reveals New Concept Art

The teaser for Dragon Age 4 that BioWare released at last year's Game Awards included some interesting details, such as Varric's narration and Solas' dramatic appearance, but didn't really tell us much about the game. The same can be said for the new concept art released yesterday by executive producer Christian Dailey. This is definitely Dragon Age (you can tell because it says so in the lower right-hand corner), but it's not exactly filled with a lot of new information.

Who is this guy? Where is he and what is he shooting at? And why are there always rocks floating around? A true Dragon Age fan might be able to get some details out of him that I can't, like the significance of the helmet and the background architecture, but I imagine BioWare is very careful about what they divulge at this point.

Interestingly, while Dailey shared this art, it was brought to my attention by his predecessor, Mark Darrah, who left BioWare with Casey Hudson in December. Darrah may no longer be working on Dragon Age, but he clearly hasn't turned his back on it.

Darrah also seems to hint at the interesting possibility that he is still involved in the game in some way: to a follower who mistook his first tweet as actually being upset, he wrote, "I'll ask Christian at work tomorrow which one he thinks it is.

Unfortunately, a BioWare representative confirmed that reports of Dollar's departure were not exaggerated and that the tweet was merely a "joking response."
