Strangers enter private lobbies without permission in the "Ironic Rainbow Six: Siege" exploit.

"Rainbow Six Siege" may be the game that busts down front doors and causes mayhem for those inside. However, the latest fix from Ubisoft confirms that some doors remain properly locked.

Before Friday night's patch, the exploit allowed strangers to enter squads as uninvited guests, refusing to leave and causing trouble for the rest of the crew. Currently, Rainbow Six requires at least one friend to be in the match before jumping in.

Obviously, it was a pain to have a lout take a lobby spot away from a friend, and I didn't even mind cheaters blending into a closed competitive match. However, the problem was compounded by the fact that there is currently no way to kick unwanted players out of a Siege game. Once someone enters your game, you are stuck with them until they decide to leave.

This latest hotfix may make it much harder for a stranger to break into your lobby. But even if they are unlikely to find another way in, it is nice to have the tools to keep them out.
