At X019, Microsoft announced that it would add 10 Final Fantasy games to Xbox Game Pass in 2020. However, by 2021, six of those games have yet to be offered.

Now, a Microsoft spokesperson told TrueAchievements that the company plans to release the missing Final Fantasy games to Game Pass sometime in 2021. As announced at X019, "We are excited to bring the Final Fantasy franchise to gamers on Xbox Game Pass.

We have done so throughout 2020 and will continue to do so in 2021 and beyond. We look forward to announcing specific release dates for more Final Fantasy titles in the future."

Xbox Game Pass currently includes Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, and Final Fantasy IX. 2021 "and beyond" includes Final Fantasy X: HD Remastered Star, Final Fantasy X-2: HD Remaster, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

PC Gamers are also still waiting for EA Play, EA's subscription service, to be added to Game Pass. The service was added for console players in December, but PC Game Pass holders will have to wait "a bit more patiently," according to the announcement.
