Bethesda Reveals New "Indiana Jones" Film is Being Produced by "Wolfenstein" Studio's MachineGames

Yesterday, Disney announced that it is bringing back Lucasfilm Games as the "official identity for all Lucasfilm game titles, including Star Wars. Today we got our first look at what this new label is up to, and it is surprising to say the least: an Indiana Jones game in development by Wolfenstein's studio, MachineGames.

At first I thought it was a new Wolfenstein game, until the end of the clip where the famous whip and fedora appear. And while MachineGames is a departure from what it is best known for, the fit is not bad: Dr. Jones was famously anti-Nazi.

The new game will feature "a completely original, standalone story set at the height of the famous adventurer's career," and will feature Todd Howard, game director of "The Elder Scrolls" and "Fallout," as executive producer.5]

Also, The teaser seems to contain hints, with the announcement stating that there "may be some clues hidden in the teaser." (No word yet on a release date, but we will update when we know more.
