The new Lucasfilm Games announced that Ubisoft is developing an open-world Star Wars game; Wired got the scoop and some details: the game is being developed by Massive Entertainment, and the creative director is Julian Gerighty (director of "The Division 2" and "The Crew"). According to Ubisoft CEO and co-founder Yves Guillemot, Massive is working with Lucasfilm to create "the most original Star Wars adventure ever." Details of the game are unknown, but for some reason a considerable amount of play time is being teased. [Sean Shoptaw, Disney's SVP of Global Games and Interactive Experiences, told Wired, "This is a massive entertainment experience that will last for hours, much longer than the movie. Hours after Ubi's announcement, Electronic Arts posted a tweet reassuring fans: "There is one simple question on the PCG forums, and that question is, 'What is the best way to make sure people are getting the most out of the game?'
