Bethesda Announces "Indiana Jones" Game Will Not Affect "Starfield" or "The Elder Scrolls 6"

Todd Howard is a busy man. He is, among other things, the director and executive producer of "The Elder Scrolls 6," the "Starfield" game we are so excited about, and the "Fallout" TV series in development for Amazon. As of yesterday, he is also executive producer of a new Indiana Jones game being developed by Wolfenstein's studio MachineGames.

It's a lot of salami to put on one plate, and at least a few people have rightly begun to wonder if it's a bit much for even his famous fiancée, Todd Howard, to handle. Bethesda, however, says it is not a problem.

"Todd is currently EPing on a number of BGS (Bethesda Game Studios) and other projects, including the 'Fallout' TV show," said Pete Hines, senior vice president of marketing at Bethesda, on Twitter." His main focus is on directing the upcoming Starfield and TES6 games and is not affected by today's news."

I'm not a Raiders fan, but I do like Wolfenstein, so my personal curiosity is how the new project will affect the future of that series. MachineGames has been involved in a number of projects from "The New Order" to " Youngblood" to the Wolfenstein reboot and rejuvenation, and I look forward to more. Unfortunately, there is no news on that front: a Bethesda spokesperson said that since yesterday's announcement, there has been no news to share about what the studio is working on.

Hines shared another important piece of information yesterday: despite appearances, Howard was not secretly teasing an "Indiana Jones" game during a live stream last year. He's just a big fan.
