General
CyberPowerPC is offering a free upgrade from Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti to RTX 3070.

While the latest graphics cards are in short supply, they are a bit more readily available if you are looking to purchase an entire PC. If you decide to go that route, take a closer look at CyberPowerPC's desktop selection, which offers a number of discounts as part of its MLK Day sale, the most attractive of which is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti to GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card for free.

Under normal circumstances, there would be a $100 price difference between these two cards when adhering to the MSRP on a standalone basis. However, the current situation is not normal. It takes luck and precise timing to get either card without paying inflated prices from marketplace sellers.

On the pre-build scene, however, prices are relatively stable and there are some interesting bargains to be had. One factor is the migration of old inventory; with Intel's Rocket Lake-S processors looming, it is no shock to see CyberPowerPC offering an immediate discount of $300 on Comet Lake configurations.

This particular PC is priced at $1,895 (down from $2,195) with a Core i7 10700K CPU, GeForce RTX 3070, Asus Prime Z490-V motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, and 1TB WD Blue SN550 SSD, 800W PSU (80 Plus Gold). [Meanwhile, a $1,585 configuration with an AMD Ryzen 3700X CPU, 16GB of DDR4-3000 RAM, 240GB SSD + 1TB HDD, and 600W PSU (80 Plus Gold) lists a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU. to the GPU section Scroll down to the GPU section and you'll see that a free upgrade to a GeForce RTX 3070 is available. Incidentally, this PC also offers a free upgrade to a well-known brand of RAM (Crucial Ballistix Sport), which is selected by default.

CyberPowerPC's GPU upgrade offer applies to all desktops except the immediate delivery PC. So there are many setups to choose from, so look around. One of the cheapest I found is a $1,399 configuration with a Core i7-10700F processor, 16GB of DDR4-3000 RAM, a 1TB WD Blue SSD, and a 600W PSU.
