First Mini-ITX Nvidia Ampere Graphics Cards Now Available
[MSI's Aero ITX series, Palit's StormX series and Dual series, and Gainward's Pegasus - all RTX 3060 12GB graphics cards announced ahead of their late February release.

Nvidia's RTX 30 series generation has not yet introduced anything close to a Mini-ITX graphics card. That may come as no surprise, given that the high-end cards in the series, the RTX 3080 and 3090, have substantial TDPs and even more substantial coolers. [However, the RTX 3060 is a bit more friendly on power consumption, with a TDP of 170W and only requiring a slim 550W PSU.

Manufacturers are obviously eager to create more compact cards out of the power-consuming RTX 3060 GPUs. All three manufacturers mentioned above have announced forms of single-fan RTX 30 series cards for upcoming GPUs (via Videocardz), all of which have significantly reduced footprints compared to dual- or triple-fan designs.

We will no doubt see many of these larger cooler designs in the RTX 3060 12GB as well.

Rather, Mini-ITX graphics cards offer a compact alternative. These smaller GPUs tend to run less expensively than larger GPUs.

All three offer standard triple DisplayPort and single HDMI 2.1 and come with a single 8-pin power connector.

An official release date for the RTX 3060 12GB has not yet been set, but it is believed to be in late February. We will have to wait until closer to the time to see what the card will look like, but at $329 at least, it is expected to be a cheaper alternative to the existing Ampere generation of graphics cards.

I suspect these single-fan cards will also fall close to this suggested retail price.
