Sometimes people take the creative tools that games offer to the extreme and use them as an artist's palette to do truly impressive things. Such is the case with this custom-made Terraria map that crosses over with Neon Genesis Evangelion. They doctored the original image a bit to fit the theme and completed this particularly apocalyptic homage to Evangelion:

Created by Steam users TheaVanherst and Alexmiles, this giant Terraria "house" took "70 to 80 hours and was created "by hand using a couple of reference images". It is a tribute not only to Evangelion, but also to Terraria. One has to understand a lot about color just to figure out which blocks will give Eva-01 the right hue and tone. The Steam community page where this artwork was posted has a link to download the map, and TheaVanherst expects that in the next couple of months They intend to update Eva's second unit, the red 02, to create a "battle arena."
