Vertex, the Ultimate Event for 2D and 3D Artists, Returns on February 25

We love good digital art, whether it's the Rockwellian flourishes of Team Fortress 2 or indie watercolors like Dordogne's. But the industry is a dizzyingly diverse mix of disciplines that can be difficult to grasp, let alone enter. Fortunately, PC Gamer's parent company, Future, has announced this year's Vertex digital art conference.

Vertex will be hosted by Future's leading professional design website, CreativeBloq.com, as well as specialty magazines 3D World and ImagineFX, and will take place on February 25. In the midst of the ongoing pandemic, this year's show will be entirely online and will feature an impressive roster of speakers from the film, animation, and video game fields. [The show will feature an impressive lineup of speakers from the worlds of film, animation, and video games, including Frederik Löfberg, whose cinematics you may have seen in "Mirror's Edge," "Battlefield," and "Dragon Age"; character artists from LEGO, Guerrilla Games, and Amazon; Lois Van Baarle, who has worked on "The Last of Us," "The Last of Us," and "The Last of Us. Lois Van Baarle, character artist for LEGO, Guerrilla Games, and Amazon; and Dawn Carlos, concept artist for Lucasfilm. Talented artists from Marvel, Disney, Pixar, and others will talk about everything from their approach to art and animation to how they make their presence felt as artists on social media.

Emerging artists can also have their portfolios reviewed by professionals, ask questions of their favorite creators in the Ask The Artist session, and have access to all sessions for 30 days after the live show.

Vertex 2021 takes place on February 25. Tickets are £25/$34 (plus tax) and can be reserved through the Vertex Conference website.
