The long-awaited and long-in-development "Biomutant," developed by Experiment 101 and published by THQ Nordic, will be released on May 25, and will feature a genetically engineered kung fu cat in an adventure, an omnipresent narrator, and the ability to make your It's an action RPG with great promise of how your choices will affect the events of the game.

The game has been in development since 2015 and was at one point slated for a summer 2019 release, but subsequent delays led some to fear the project had been cancelled. At the time, developer Experiment 101 blamed the delay on the game's "enormity, size, and length."

Biomutant is a game with no shortage of big buzz, and many have high hopes for it. We'll find out in May if it's worth the wait.
