With this Raspberry Pi 4 starter kit, you can build a retro game box for just $80.
[Earlier this week, Andy Kelly wrote a tutorial on how to build a small PC to play classic console games.

These are not exactly the same parts Andy used, but they should be enough to get the job done. Or you can take on the myriad other projects that are possible with these hobby kits, which are on sale for $99.98 (down from $119.99), check the 10 percent coupon box at checkout and apply coupon code "LABISTS1" (you can stack the two discounts), and the price becomes $79.98.

The foundation of this starter kit is a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4GB (Andy used the 2GB version in the tutorial), featuring a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A72 CPU, built-in Bluetooth and 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity, two HDMI outputs, four USB ports, and a microSD card slot.

Speaking of card slots, this bundle includes a 32GB microSD card. Also included is a case, cooling fan (with screwdriver to install fan), USB A+C card reader, heatsink, two micro HDMI cables, Type-C power supply with on/off switch, and quick start guide.
