Aruba: Wildlife Adventure" helps plant more than 450,000 trees

Ustwo Games, the studio behind "Aruba: A Wildlife Adventure," announced on Twitter that it has planted more than 450,000 trees as part of a partnership with the British reforestation charity Ecologi.

The studio is working with Ecologi to "sustainably plant one tree for every download of 'Aruba: A Wildlife Adventure. This partnership makes a lot of sense, as "Aruba: A Wildlife Adventure" centers on a young girl's attempts to protect and clean up the Mediterranean island where her grandparents live. [It's a mangrove project in Madagascar, a reforestation project in Mozambique, and a reforestation project in Nicaragua's Bosawas Biosphere Reserve. On the Aruba Ecology page, you can see how many trees were used for each habitat project. You can see graphically how far each group of saplings has progressed, along with photos.

You can also buy Alba: a Wildlife Adventure on Steam, or donate directly to Ecologi if you want to contribute to planting more trees.
