As promised last year, the developers of Plague Inc have released free DLC for owners of the original game, which is about finding a cure for a pandemic rather than becoming a global pandemic. Created in collaboration with health experts from around the world, including WHO, CEPI, and GOARN, Plague Inc: Ndemic Creations states in the game description, "The Cure is an engaging and timely simulation of a global disease response."

The game is loaded with all-new game mechanics that go beyond the basic scenario of Plague Inc, and are quite clever as well. Players work with a research team to investigate the epidemic, a social program to control the outbreak, an economic program to support control, and finally, the development of a vaccine that needs to be researched, manufactured, and distributed. All of these steps depend on global cooperation among nations.

This DLC will be available free of charge "to all Plague Inc. players until COVID-19 is overrun. So there is still a little time to get this DLC; you can find it on Steam.
