[It was posted on Reddit yesterday and got a lot of attention, as did the Ryzen 5 5600X, which is already sold out. But now, a day later, the higher-end AMD Ryzen 7 5800X is still listed as available for $449. finding stock of AMD's new CPUs can be tough, but getting them at MSRP is another story. Go, go, go! [The Ryzen 7 5800X is an 8-core/16-thread processor based on AMD's latest Zen 3 architecture. In its standard configuration, it has a base clock of 3.8 GHz, a boost clock of 4.7 GHz, and a 32 MB L3 cache.

Simply put, the Ryzen 7 5800X is one of the best CPUs for gaming and a great mid-range chip for serious work. It is especially well suited for X570 or B550 motherboards, but can also be installed on older generation X470 or B450 motherboards.

The same chip was also available at Walmart yesterday at MSRP, but sold out quickly, leaving only a soaring listing (starting at $570) from a marketplace seller.
