Three solo missions added to Red Dead Online; Rockstar announces more additions

Red Dead Online, which recently launched as a standalone title, is pulling out all the stops to bring players back. Red Dead Online players are often grumpy when it comes to RDO updates, and for good reason. In the latest update for [Red Dead Online], Rockstar has added three new missions, the first of which are solo missions. To be fair, they look pretty good, but you have to laugh. While Rockstar North's Bill Muny looks on coldly, RDO players plead like Little Bill Daggett in Unforgiven." It doesn't matter what you deserve."

The new missions, accessed by telegram from a mysterious figure called "J," are familiar in format to experienced cowboys, but they are interesting for their variety. "A One Horse Deal" steals an unbred Arabian racehorse The mission is to elude pursuit and escape. Rich Pickings" is a semi-stealth mission to break into the mansion of the corrupt mayor of St. Denis and recover his illicit smuggling gains.

Each new mission has three difficulty levels, increasing in difficulty with each replay. The Rockstar press release announcing these missions states that more missions in this vein will follow: "Stay tuned for new missions in the future.

Alongside this is the usual blend of bonuses, discounts, and additional rewards that RDO offers with each update. Rockstar's support for Red Dead Online seems to have been reinvigorated with the release of the standalone version, and this mission chain is clearly an ongoing project.
