A demo of People Can Fly's sci-fi cooperative third-person shooter "Outriders" will be available on Steam on February 25. There is no time limit, four classes and six character slots available.

In a lengthy Twitter thread detailing the demo, People Can Fly confirms that the game's prologue and early chapters are playable." They warn that "this means that the gear and enemies you will encounter are variants of the early game." Outriders "As the main storyline progresses, the gear and enemies will become more twisted, exotic, and powerful.

The studio also emphasizes that this is a demo, not a beta. It will support cross-play with all platforms, except Google Stadia, where the demo is not available. And most importantly, this is not just a pre-launch; the demo will be available after the April 1 release date. The level cap will be 7, enough to learn 4 abilities and 2 skill points for each class. Meanwhile, the "world tier" system, which determines the game's difficulty (and loot), will allow players to advance to the fifth level.

"The demo runs to a confrontation with Gauss," the studio wrote. After Gauss is defeated, several side missions will be unlocked so you can go back and explore the world.
