General
The Steam Game Festival will be held in June as well.

Earlier this month, the Steam Game Festival's week-long Winter Event brought more than 500 new demos to Steam. Fortunately, some developers still can find playable slices of games like Potion Craft: Alchemist, because Valve has responded to the option to make demos available even after the week is over: Potion Craft. Simulator, Loop Hero, Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron, and Little Nightmares 2, you can find playable versions of these games on their Steam page.

As noted on the ResetEra forum, the summer follow-up event will take place between June 16 and June 22. Once again, there will be demos, live streams, and developer chats in support of upcoming games. Games eligible for this event are those that have not yet been released, have a release date after January 2022, and have not participated in either of the last two Steam Game Festivals. (Early Access games will be considered as long as they have not released a playable build prior to the start of the festival.)

Steam has had spring sales in the past, but has not held one for two years now. If this trend continues, the summer edition of the Steam Game Festival may coincide with the next big Steam sale.
