General
This GTX 1660 Ti laptop is $250 off today at $750.

Thanks to GPU shortages at both AMD and Nvidia, building your own desktop PC (or buying most pre-built PCs) is expensive, but there are still plenty of deals to be had on gaming laptops. Right now, you can get a laptop with a GTX 1660 Ti graphics card for $749.99 at Newegg, a $250 savings over the regular price.

The MSI laptop on sale is powered by an Intel Core i7-9760H processor, which is not the latest 11th generation chip (or even 10th generation chip), but still has 6 cores and 12 threads. It also has 8GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD for storage, and a large 15.6-inch 1080p screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Connectivity is not bad either, with one HDMI port (4K @ 30Hz), two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connectors, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (regular USB), a dedicated audio jack, and a 720p webcam that supports recent Zoom calls.

MSI uses an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti graphics card in this laptop, a great GPU that supports a native resolution of 1080p, though we refer you to our GTX 1660 Ti review for more on its performance, Keep in mind that the mobile version is slower, due to the thermal constraints of sitting inside a laptop.

The only "downside" to this laptop is the 8GB of RAM. Thankfully, RAM (and SSD) upgrades are easy, so adding another 8GB stick for about $40 is no big deal.
