This desktop with a GTX 1660 Ti will save you $760, or $130 with an RTX 2060 Super.

With most graphics cards (and even some CPUs) becoming more difficult to purchase at normal prices, building your own gaming PC has never been more difficult. Thankfully, HP is discounting its lineup of gaming PCs with customizable specifications, and you can get a desktop with a GTX 1660 TI for as low as $759.99.

The basic configuration of the HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1070m (great name, right?) includes a Ryzen 5 4600G processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, 8GB RAM, Windows and all 256GB SSD for storing games. The hardware is priced at $759.99, not bad at all considering that the street price for the GPU alone is at least $640 at today's ridiculous prices.

However, HP allows you to customize components at checkout, so changing a few options could make it more affordable: doubling the SSD storage to 512GB is another $40, and increasing the RAM from 8GB to 16GB is $120 additional $40 to double the SSD storage, and $120 to increase the RAM from 8GB to 16GB. The graphics card can also be replaced with an RTX 2060 Super for $130.

With the 16GB RAM and RTX 2060 Super option, the total cost comes to $1,009.99, a fair price for this hardware; if you cross the $1,000 threshold (no matter which option you choose), you can use the code "5GAMER2021" at checkout " to receive a 5% discount; the 16GB RAM/2060 Super PC drops to $959.49.

Whatever configuration you choose, if you can use the coupon code at checkout, you'll save a lot. Both Ryzen CPUs have integrated graphics, so you can take out the GPU and use it in a separate system and use the HP as a productivity desktop.
