Minecraft Dungeons now has even more Minecraft dungeons in the form of Flames of the Nether. This is a paid DLC pack, and as the name suggests, it takes place in the Nether. There are six missions under this one, and if you progress well, you should be able to get new weapons, gear, and artifacts, but you'll need to kill a lot of Nether-themed enemies to get the loot.

The cost of this update is $6, but a significant number of free updates will be delivered at the same time. Most of these free updates are meant to keep the game going, the biggest being Ancient Hunts. This is a procedurally generated mission that will be accessible at the end of the game and will "weave through familiar locations in the Nether and Overworld in action-packed adventures. Naturally, these adventures have a higher chance of obtaining rarer items, but they are the only way to obtain a new rarity of equipment called "Gilded."

Gilded items will only drop from Ancient mobs, and Ancient Hunts will also be the best place to get gold, a new currency accepted by Piglin merchants who specialize in Gilded goods.
