General
Watch Dogs Legion, free to play on weekends.

"Watch Dogs Legion" is a very good game "once you finally find the right friends," we said in our 80% review. The recently released online co-op mode, on the other hand, is a "profound disappointment." If you haven't yet played the digital streets of near-future London and are wondering what the balance is, this weekend is the perfect time to find out.

From tomorrow, March 25 through March 29, Ubisoft will make "Watch Dogs Legion" available to everyone for free; pre-loading is now underway on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft, and progress earned during the free period will carry over to the full version as usual. The progress earned during the free period will be carried over to the full version as usual. All editions are also on sale at both stores at 50% off, and the Season Pass is on sale at 25% off.

The trial version has limitations: the trial version allows access to half of the game's eight boroughs, including the City of London and Islington & Hackney, and the story only goes as far as the Sky Larsen mission. Freebie players, however, have access to "all the activities of the open world. They can play darts in the pub or engage in bare-knuckle fights. At the very least, we can assume that the basics of the game are covered.

The "Watch Dogs Legion" free weekend begins on March 25 at 9:00 a.m. PT (12:00 p.m. GMT) and lasts until March 29 at 7:00 a.m. PT (10:00 a.m. GMT). If darts and fisticuffs aren't enough for you, there are plenty of other free games to play right now.
