Indeed, there is no PC version of Mario Kart (unless you emulate it). I'm not talking about Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed; I'm talking about Halo Kart, a mod by InfernoPlus that was released last year and is back in the public eye thanks to a post on the Halo subreddit.

Halo Kart takes five courses from the NINTENDO64 version of Mario Kart, tweaks them a bit, and lets the squatting Spartan run free on miniature Wartogs. Of course, it's Halo-themed, not blue shells and banana peels.

To play Halo Kart, you need the Halo Custom Edition, a free add-on to the original Master Chief Collection for the PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved. patch up to 1.10 and follow InfernoPlus of Patreon and follow the instructions to get the mod up and running... Halo Kart is insanely buggy, so be prepared, the Halo array was designed to obliterate all life in the galaxy, not to race around in a kart-sized puma...
