Rumors of "Battlefield 6" are spreading fast in anticipation of the game's release this season. Recently, the official "Battlefield" Twitter account posted a tweet listing the game's features, which has been met with a resounding response.

The tweet, by Roberto Serrano (aka @geronimo_73), listed a modern warfare setting, 16 vs. 128 multiplayer matches, soldier, weapon, and vehicle customization, and a "Fall 2021" release date. The tweet also mentions a battle royale component, which will reportedly be released in early 2022 as a free-to-play title.

None of this is particularly surprising, and most of it is what one would expect from a new Battlefield title. The free-to-play battle royale is somewhat surprising, and the modern warfare setting is not confirmed. But apart from that, it's business as usual, right?
