The beehive-inspired Nvidia RTX 3060 is creating a buzz.

Korean GPU manufacturer EmTek recently announced its custom 30-series GPU lineup, aka the Miracle series, which is based on a beehive motif. The first of these is the Miracle D6 12GB RTX 3060, and its shroud is pretty sweet.

And if you think that's enough bee puns for one story, hold on to your hood (because there are bees).

These offer a base GPU clock of 1.32 GHz and a boost of up to 1.77 GHz. In fact, it is likely to be even higher than that. All of this is achieved by 3,584 CUDA cores. It also has the same 12GB GDDR6 (rated at 15 Gbps on a 192-bit memory bus) as a standard RTX 3060 drone.

The lower end of Nvidia's second-generation RTX GPUs, the RTX 3060 may not be the queen when it comes to performance, but the RTX 3060 takes the high road; even at 4K, this card can happily buzz around at over 30fps. Still, if this level of performance isn't your cup of tea and you want something a little more venomous, a more powerful card with a honeycomb shroud is on the horizon.

Currently, the EmTek store (via VideoCardz) only says that product information is "to be updated at a later date" and only one image is shown, but a full list of specs is available.

A lot of the comments I've found have to do with people being really outraged about the design. All this stigma surrounding GPUs that don't look like Gundam larvae has to stop. It pains me to see such a unique design get stung just for trying to pollinate the market with something a little different.

People seem too afraid to change their stripes.

Pricing has yet to be announced, but it will no doubt be higher than the $349 launch price, including shipping and imports from Korea. Still, the Miracle design may be worth it for black-and-yellow high-flyers looking for something a little different.

One thing is for sure: if it ever hits store shelves, it will be a miracle.
