This new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive mod, created by teteu with the help of Enrico_srp4, is a collection of 30 mini-games themed around various examples of Mediatonic's Fall Guys. The mod starts in the hub area, where you can choose the color of your Fall(ing)Guy. Then you and your group are sucked into a game that is a surprisingly faithful recreation of the most outstanding round of Fall(ing)Guy's.

I know I wrote something a little mean about "Fall Guys" in the headline. What I like about this mod is that, oddly enough, some of the modes work well as an exercise in CS: GO. One map in particular, Fall Race, recreates the Fall Guys challenge where players have to jump over huge moving platforms. It's not exactly a surf map, but I spent at least an hour running around on this fan and trying to figure out different routes after my friends went hunting and I was left behind in the mod solo.

Yes, I'm a bit of a sadist, but that's the fun of the mod. You run into something unexpected and swallow up more time than you should, and the Falling Guys mod has several game types, some of which are faithful recreations like this one, some of which have counter-strike elements like guns and bouncing mines thrown in, and some of which specialize in a single weapon.

Details are obviously important to the creators of Falling Guys: in the sliding door level, the downward ramp and the sneaky pitfall at the end are intact.

"Falling Guys" can be downloaded from the Steam workshop, and the workshop content can be accessed from the main "Play" menu. Try it out with a few buddies and see if you don't get sucked in too.
