Former PS4 exclusive "Erica" to launch on PC in May.

Released exclusively for PS4 in 2019, Erika was an FMV thriller that caused controversy. Some found it boring, while others were enthralled. Either way, the film has an interesting premise. You play as Erica, who explores a vast and mysterious mansion and tries to get to the bottom of the truth about her father's death... quite a big deal for an FMV game, and the soundtrack is by Austin Wintory, of "Journey" fame.

This Flavourworks adventure is coming to PC with a Steam release on May 25. The game follows its release on iOS earlier this year, and echoes the recent resurgence of the FMV genre, which seemed destined to fade into obscurity forever on CD-ROM in the early 90s. Richard Cobbett wrote about the genre's revival, sparked by the success of Her Story, in a 2015 feature.
