Hearthstone's overdue balancing will take place "early next week".

As Ben "RidiculousHat" Goodman pointed out yesterday, the Hearthstone meta has gone insane. Literally, the "crazy deck" cards have made the "mage without minions" decks a constant nuisance to those who don't play them, and the paladin decks are overwhelmingly strong. As Goodman wrote, "Everyone else is grasping at straws."

This situation is about to change, though perhaps not as quickly as anyone would like. As Alec Dawson, Hearthstone's lead designer, stated on Twitter today, "We will be making some balance adjustments early next week in 20.0.2. We will be targeting mages, paladins, rogues, and some neutral cards. We hope to create more room for experimentation in the early Barrens meta and have a more diverse class. Six changes in total, more details coming soon."

While the changes to mages and paladins are welcome, rogues seem a bit out of place; according to HSReplay.net, rogue decks currently have the fourth highest win rate under hunters. While justice is being served on paladins and mages, I hope our traitorous friends don't get the nerf they don't deserve.

What's this? Looks like someone posted a link here to 9 digital card games that are better than Hearthstone.
